SLS MERCHANDISING CLASS UPDATE

Our popular online collection merchandising workshop scheduled for this morning, Friday, June13, has been postponed due to severe flooding affecting many of our registered participants. The good news is that we’ll be adding an additional session. The two new sessions will be posted on the CE catalog today (6/13) for June 27 and July 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If you were thinking about taking the course but couldn’t because of the date, here’s your opportunity. We do intend to offer the workshop again this fall and spring, so keep an eye out if these new dates don’t work for you. With the completion of option self guided assignments along with the course, you can earn up to 5 continuing education credits.

This session focuses on merchandising your collection to get your items off the shelf and out the door. Tips, tricks and techniques from retailers and other libraries are used to help you design effective and exciting displays.
